Meet Chelsea

Chelsea is currently in her third and final year of the Transpersonal Counseling Psychology: Art Therapy masters program at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.  She is particularly interested in trauma recovery, rituals & rites of passage, social action art therapy, and working with military personnel and their dependents.

Chelsea is presently a counseling intern at a domestic abuse support services agency on the Front Range of Colorado which involves:
  • Individual counseling with adults, adolescents and children including art therapy, play therapy, and traditional talk therapy
  • Facilitating groups for children from violent homes
  • Crisis intervention & Advocacy
Other art therapy experience includes:
  • Creative group therapy for young girls impacted by sexual abuse
  • Healthy self-image and empowerment groups for teen girls
  • Open studio workshops for adults with mental illness
  • Specialized training in crisis intervention and trauma recovery
Chelsea also dabbles in:
  • Blog design, Social Media Marketing & Technology Coaching
  • Event planning (Weddings, Fundraisers, & more) 
  • Photography (Weddings, Engagement & Senior Portraits)
